Either the dollar is getting weaker or the forint is getting stronger, but regardless of which is happening, I'm getting poorer. The exchange rate is awful right now!!
My budget has fallen apart, thanks to my week spent in the EuroZone. I'll manage for these last 20 days by eliminating my tentative day trips and replacing them with random wandering around Budapest, which is absolutely FREE!
Luckily, I finished up souvenir shopping with Laura today at the market, and all that remains is a last minute rush for Milka, because it's better than Hershey and it doesn't exist in the US from what I know.
Plans for this weekend include our last home-cooked Friday night meal, followed by a screening of The Hangover courtesy of Laura's extensive DVD collection. I think on Friday during the day, we're gonna go to one of the thermal baths for which Hungary is famous, but first some pricing research needs to occur. On Saturday, we're going to an amusement park, and on Sunday, we're going to Aquincum, the Roman ruins conveniently located on the HEV.
Not so fun plans include finishing my Multicultural Lit paper and cleaning the apartment.
And Venice photos are up on the Photobucket!! Vienna and Berlin coming soon, I promise!
